Asset Storage is active in the community. We believe in supporting our friends and neighbors in the Leland/Wilmington area. Some of our activities include:

• Working with Crosswinds Church in collecting clothing for our neighbors in the Leland area. Distributing food supplies to Brunswick Co families with Victory Baptist Church in Leland, Manna Ministries.
• Honoring our North Carolina Marines serving in Iraq by participating in Operation Semper Fi . Our Marines would appreciate any of the following items: protein bars, beef jerky, aloe gel, books, crackers, foot powder, eye glass cleaners, blistex, magazines, eye drops, canned tuna and chicken. Items can be dropped off 6 days a week: Monday-Saturday (9-5).
• Working with Step Up for Soldiers. DROP OFF STATION FOR CELL PHONES FOR SOLDIERS!!
• Active in project W.A.R.M.

The weather outside was frightful but it didn't stop Donna and Elf Carolyn from driving in the Unity Leland Christmas Parade on December 11.  Honestly ladies did you have to give everyone on the parade route a candy cane???  

Cape Fear Guardian ad Litem. Two of our owners, Anne Sorhagen and Dan Cameron serve as officers and work tirelessly to raise money to provide enrichment opportunities and activities for children in the foster care system of New Hanover and Pender Counties. Both serve as mentors and guardians for children in the GAL Guardian ad Litem. The Guardian ad Litem Program is a state wide program that provides trained independent advocates to represent and promote the best interest of abused and/or neglected children in the court system. GAL wants to make a difference for children, one child at a time. For more information visit www.cfgala.org

Asset Storage owner featured in WILMA Magazine:

Donna Cameron, an owner of ASSET STORAGE, is featured in Wilmington's WILMA magazine. She is one of four women chosen for this article "The Path to Success" which showcases Wilmington's most successful professional business women.

"....my daughter said: 'I think the biggest thing you’ve done;... it’s your attitude.' And I was raised in a home (that) if you came downstairs with a 'negative Nelly' attitude you were sent right back upstairs. And that was because my father, who was a banker for life, said no one wants to see that."

The positive attitude Donna learned from her father is reflected in the entire ASSET STORAGE staff. We appreciate your business and will do what is necessary to get it ...... cheerfully!

As an active member of North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce, Asset Storage hosts various business after hours events. Donna Cameron, one of our owners serves on the Board of Directors for the NBCC. We also support most community events in the Leland area.
